Leonardo da Vinci's flying screw, finally fitted with an engine.
His 1489 helicopter sketch sits on a six-cylinder radial engine, a pressure furnace and a chimney, all in pre-painted panels with a worked-metal look. Light and sound run through the pipework.
Why you'll love it
- ✓ History, reimagined. Leonardo's helical rotor on top of the radial engine that made flight work.
- ✓ Looks like metal. Pre-painted, masked panels: no finishing needed.
- ✓ Glows and sounds. Lighting through the pipework and movable lamps, with sound alongside.
- ✓ Part of a city. A built-in 2.4G receiver syncs with other Industrial City models (connector sold separately).
Great gift for steampunk fans, history buffs, aviation lovers and builders who like a showpiece with a story.
